The experience

The day starts with pickup from your Da Nang hotel and a scenic drive to Ba Na Hills. At 9:30am you board the cable car system that holds four World Records. The longest single-track non-stop wire, the longest distance between stations, the longest unpatched cable and the heaviest cable roll. The ride itself is the experience: you rise through the clouds toward the Golden Bridge, which sits suspended 1,400 meters above sea level and creates the illusion of a silk strip floating in the air. Your local guide shares the story and cultural significance of the bridge as you stand on it, pointing out the panorama of Quang Nam and Da Nang City spread below.

Once at the top, the day splits between guided stops and time on your own. You walk through Le Jardin D'Amour (the Flower Garden of Love), visit Linh Ung Pagoda with its 27-meter Shakyamuni statue, and see Tinh Tam Garden, century-old villas and a 100-year-old pomelo tree. Your guide tells the unique story behind each one. A second cable car takes you to Nui Chua Peak, where French Village (a replica of a medieval French town) and Fantasy Park wait. The guide shows you the best photo spots before lunch at noon: a buffet with over 100 dishes, including vegetarian options.

After lunch you have the afternoon in Fantasy Park, which includes rides and games: the Alpine coaster, Love Wheel, Ghost House, Freefall Tower, Dinosaur Park, 5D experiences and over 90 free games. The Slide of Tube Car is a popular free ride. You can also explore the Wax Museum (separate ticket) or walk through Fairy Forest. At 3:30pm you take the cable car back down, and the bus returns you to your hotel by 5:30pm. The tour runs 8 to 10 hours depending on how much time you spend in the park.
