Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge: Cable Car & Peak Views from Da Nang
Two cable cars, one peak, and the hands holding Vietnam's Golden Bridge
You ride two UNESCO-ranked cable cars to Ba Na's peak, walk across the Golden Bridge held by giant stone hands, visit a 27-meter Buddha statue and French colonial gardens, eat lunch at the summit, and spend the afternoon in Fantasy Park and temples before returning to your hotel. The Experience
The cable car doors close at 9am and the ground drops away. You're riding one of the ten most impressive cable systems in the world—CNN ranked it—and the valley opens below in layers of green and mist. Ba Na Hills sits at 1,487 meters, and the ride up takes you through cloud cover that shifts like something alive. Your guide points out Mo stream and Toc Tien waterfall as you climb, their white spray visible even from the cable car. By the time you step out at the top, the air has changed temperature and the light has changed color.
The Golden Bridge is exactly what it looks like in photos: two enormous stone hands emerging from the hillside, holding a narrow footbridge between them. You walk across it. The hands are 27 meters tall and carved with such detail that you can see the texture of the palms. L'Jardin Zone sits nearby—French colonial architecture transplanted to a Vietnamese mountaintop, which sounds absurd until you're standing in it and it somehow works. Linh Ung Pagoda is a short walk from there, and the 27-meter Buddha statue watches over Da Nang city and the bay below. The guide knows which spots fill up first and steers you toward the quieter angles, which matters because the tour runs year-round and crowds shift with the season.
At 11:30 you board the second cable car from Debay station, this one heading to Nui Chua Peak—the actual rooftop of Da Nang. Lunch happens here, either included as a buffet or skipped depending on which package you booked. After eating, Fantasy Park opens up: a small amusement area with rides and games, nothing that demands hours but enough to break up the afternoon if you have kids or just want to move around. The guide gives you time at Linh Chua Linh Tu temple, where the panoramic view of the whole city materializes through the mist in the late afternoon. The descent by cable car reverses the morning's climb—the temperature drops again, the valley fills in below you, and by 4:30pm you're back in the coach heading toward the city center. Hotel drop-off lands between 4:30 and 5pm.
What’s included

Operated by Fantastic Central
Is this one for you?Book this if you want Ba Na's main sights—the Golden Bridge, the peak views, the pagoda—without arranging transport, buying tickets separately, or timing the cable car queues yourself. The guide handles the logistics and knows which stops to hit first, which saves you the morning crowd and leaves the afternoon for the temples and park.
