The experience

You're picked up at the port and driven to Ba Na Hills, a resort complex perched high enough to cycle through four seasons in a single day. The cable car, a world-record holder, carries you to the first stop: Linh Ung Pagoda, the France Wine Cellar and the Flower Garden. From there, a second cable car ascends to the French Village, a full-scale recreation of classical European architecture (a square, church, town and old inns) that sits at the mountain's height in an otherworldly quiet.

The Golden Bridge is the centerpiece. Officially opened in June 2018 and named one of TIME magazine's top ten destinations that year, it spans nearly 150 meters across the Paradise Garden at 1,414 meters elevation. The bridge is 12.8 meters wide, built on eight arches with the longest reaching 21.2 meters, and serves as a transit point between the French Village and La Jardin D'Amour Gardens. The Guardian called it the world's most impressive pedestrians' bridge. You walk it, photograph it, and move through the gardens on either side.

The tour also includes Fantasy Park, Vietnam's largest indoor game zone, and the Jurassic Park section if children are in your group. The entire excursion runs seven hours from port pickup to return, with an English-speaking guide throughout and bottled water provided.
