The experience
The hike starts at ground level and moves slowly through Sedona's landscape, passing native plants and rock formations with sightlines to two of the area's most recognized vortex sites. You're not rushing past the red rocks. You're stopping to be present with them. The guide points out the geology and flora as you walk, and the pace itself becomes part of the practice. After roughly two hours on the trail, you arrive at an open-air location where the yoga class begins.
The yoga session is not a fixed routine. Your instructor blends Katonah, Yin, and Restorative techniques into a single hour shaped around the group that shows up that day. The class closes with a short meditation and breath-work session designed to anchor the physical movement to the specific energy of the land. After class, you walk back along the trail to where you started, with the sounds of the desert doing the rest of the work.
No yoga or hiking experience is required. The terrain is beginner-friendly and accessible. You'll finish in time to have the rest of your Sedona day ahead of you. A personal yoga mat is provided, and your guide speaks English throughout.

Is this one for you?The small-group format keeps the experience personal and lets the instructor shape the class around who's there, so no two sessions are exactly alike. This works best for anyone who wants to slow down and actually feel the landscape, not just pass through it.
