You arrive 15 minutes before your reservation time for check-in, then board a shuttle that departs exactly 15 minutes later: timing matters here because late arrivals forfeit the experience with no refund or rescheduling option. The drive to the off-road site takes part of the 3-hour total, so factor in Orlando traffic when you book. Once you reach the countryside landscape just outside the city, you and your co-rider climb into your assigned buggy and begin rotating who drives. Drivers must be at least 16 years old and under 6'2" tall. Anyone younger rides as a passenger. The combined weight of both guests cannot exceed 440 lbs.

The terrain itself is the point: expect mud, bumps, dirt and water crossings. This is not a smooth or clean ride, so wear clothes you don't mind getting soiled and bring a change if you're heading elsewhere afterward. Bugs are part of the landscape too. The guide leads the group through the rugged environments, and you'll handle the vehicle yourself rather than watching from a seat.
