The tour picks you up at your Las Vegas hotel and heads south toward the desert landmarks. Your first stop is the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign for photos. From there, you drive to Seven Magic Mountains, an open-air art installation of seven stacked, neon-painted boulders rising from the Mojave Desert floor. It's a popular photo stop, and the time there is yours to explore at your own pace.

Next is the Boulder City-Hoover Dam Museum in downtown Boulder City, where exhibits and vintage photographs tell the story of the dam's construction through the accounts of the workers who built it. Then you arrive at Hoover Dam itself. You walk across the top of the dam on your own schedule, taking in views of the Colorado River and Black Canyon below. Before heading back, the tour stops at Hemenway Park for a chance to spot wild bighorn sheep, and at the Lake Mead Overlook and the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Bridge for panoramic views of the reservoir and the surrounding desert landscape. The whole outing runs about four and a half hours from pickup to drop-off.

Admission to Hoover Dam is included, as is bottled water and a light snack during the ride. The van holds a maximum of 14 people, so the group stays small.
