St. Andrews Bay Dolphin Snorkeling Tour: , Private, 6 Pax
Dolphins in their habitat, then snorkeling for shells and sea life
A private 2-hour dolphin and snorkeling tour in St. Andrews Bay carries up to 6 passengers—including infants—on one boat with a captain who guides you to where dolphins gather, then to a snorkeling site stocked with marine life and shells. All snorkeling equipment and bottled water are included; the captain tailors the route to your group's preferences.
Step-by-step itinerary
Dolphin watching and snorkeling tour
- Board private boat
- Visit dolphin hotspots
- Interact with dolphins
- Snorkel at vibrant location
- Discover seashells and marine life
- Return to shore
The Experience
You arrive at the dock with your group and board a private boat that seats up to six. The captain takes you out into St. Andrews Bay, where the waters between Shell Island and the mainland hold dolphins in their natural habitat. You'll watch and interact with them from the boat as the captain points out where they're feeding or moving through the shallows. This part of the tour is observation and encounter—no gear needed, just eyes on the water.
After the dolphin portion, the boat moves to a snorkeling location where the captain guides you into the water to hunt for seashells and marine life. Snorkeling equipment is provided, and the captain stays with you to show you where things are hiding and what to look for. The water here is clear enough to see the bottom, and the marine life is abundant enough that you'll find shells and small creatures without much searching. Bottled water and a cooler are on board; you're welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks to add to it.
The whole outing runs two hours from start to finish. Because it's a private boat, the captain can adjust the route and timing based on what your group wants to do—if the dolphins are particularly active in one spot, you can stay longer; if someone wants more snorkeling time and less boat time, that's possible too. Infants and small children can come along; specialized infant seats are available, and infants can sit on an adult's lap. The boat and all areas are wheelchair accessible.
