Snorkeling in Destin: Emerald Waters with Experienced Crew
Snorkel emerald waters and feed fish from a boat with a CPR-certified instructor on board
Snorkeling excursion from Destin Harbor with up to 28 passengers, a US Coast Guard–certified crew, and a CPR-certified snorkel instructor available on and off the vessel. The 2.5- to 3-hour trip includes use of sanitized snorkeling equipment and fish food. Children from age 3 are welcome; non-swimmers stay aboard during the water activities.
The Experience
The boat departs from Destin Harbor after a 45-minute check-in. You'll spend the middle hours in the emerald green water with snorkeling equipment provided and sanitized for each group. A CPR-certified instructor floats nearby if you have questions or need help, and fish food lets you draw them close. The crew watches for dolphins, which show up often enough that it's not a surprise—it's part of the rhythm of the trip.
Pelican Adventures has run this operation for two decades from a central Destin location, with boats and gear inspected and insured to Coast Guard standards. The crew are certified and trained to keep the experience safe on the water. If you're not a swimmer, you can stay on the boat and soak up sun on the beach while others are in the water; the excursion doesn't require you to go under to be part of the day.
What’s included
Sanitized snorkeling equipment and fish food are provided; a CPR-certified snorkel instructor is available on and off the vessel to answer questions or assist.
