Al Boom Diving runs the operation from Le Meridien Beach Resort in Fujairah, and they send a shuttle bus from their Dubai centre on Al Wasl Road. A two-hour drive that gets you away from the crowded dive sites closer to the city. You bring your own certification card. The guide handles the rest.

The day runs 10 hours round trip, which means you're in the water for multiple dives instead of a single descent. Full scuba equipment is included (tank, regulator, BCD, weights), so you only bring yourself and your log book. The dive guide is live and speaks English or Arabic, and the group stays small enough that the guide can watch everyone. If you want to add a training dive to refresh skills or work toward a new certification, you can choose that option when you book.

Bring your own reusable water bottle. The resort has a refill station and Al Boom is working to cut single-use plastic. You can pack your own lunch or order a freshly made sandwich from the hotel kitchen. The shuttle picks you up and drops you back at the Dubai centre, so you don't drive yourself tired after a morning in the water.
