PickupAt your hotel

You descend to 12 meters on your first dive with an instructor right beside you.

This is an introductory scuba diving and snorkeling activity in Dibba Fujairah, departing from Dubai with hotel pickup and returning the same day. A certified instructor guides you through one 30- to 40-minute dive to the reef, plus snorkeling time, with all equipment provided and no certification required. Transport between Dubai and Fujairah costs 160 AED, payable on arrival.

The Experience

The day starts with pickup from your Dubai hotel and a drive to Dibba Fujairah, where you board the dive boat. A professional instructor walks you through the basics on board before you enter the water—no classroom, no certification course, just the steps you need to descend safely and explore the reef. The dive itself runs 30 to 40 minutes, taking you down to 12 meters where the corals and tropical fish are. An instructor stays with you the entire time, from entry to exit, so you're never alone underwater.

Between dives, you snorkel at the surface with the same equipment setup, watching the marine life without the weight of the tank. The boat carries a sound system, a shower and toilet, and a refill station for water and soft drinks—no plastic bottles, just what you need to stay comfortable through the eight hours. All diving and snorkeling gear is provided; you bring nothing but a valid passport and a completed health questionnaire.

Minimum age is 10 years old, though the operator's structured data lists 12 as the minimum—confirm this when you book. Diving within 18 hours of flying is not recommended, and some medical conditions (asthma, heart problems, spinal injuries) may prevent you from diving, so a doctor's clearance is wise if you have any concerns. Pregnant travelers should not participate. The return to Dubai follows the same route, with timing dependent on traffic.

Top questions

What's the water like at Dibba Fujairah for a first dive?

Dibba Fujairah has colorful corals and tropical marine life at depths up to 12 meters, shallow enough for beginners and rich enough to hold your attention for a full dive. The reef is the main draw—it's what makes this location the operator's choice for discovery diving.

Do I need a scuba certification to dive on this trip?

No certification is required. The instructor teaches you everything you need to know on the boat before you enter the water, and stays with you throughout the dive, so you can explore the reef safely without taking a course.

What's included in the eight hours, and what costs extra?

The eight hours cover hotel pickup from Dubai, transport to and from Dibba Fujairah, one guided dive, snorkeling time, all gear, the boat, shower and toilet access, and unlimited soft drinks and water. Transport between Dubai and Fujairah is 160 AED, payable when you arrive at the dive center.

Can I bring my own diving or snorkeling gear?

All diving and snorkeling equipment is provided, so you don't need to rent or buy your own. Bring your passport and a completed health questionnaire instead.

What happens if I'm not comfortable going down to 12 meters?

Your instructor is with you the entire dive and can adjust the depth or the pace to match your comfort level. You're in control, and the instructor's job is to keep you safe and confident, not to push you deeper than you want to go.
