The experience

You're in an air-conditioned SUV heading toward flat city streets, and then the asphalt just stops. The dunes start immediately after: no gradual fade, just red sand rising up where concrete was a minute ago. That's the contrast that makes a Dubai desert safari feel like leaving the city entirely, even though you're still in it. The 4x4 does most of the work: the driver handles the dune bashing while you sit back and watch the vehicle tilt at angles that shouldn't be possible.
