- Drive to Kélibia
- Climb Kélibia fortress
- Continue to Hammamet

The experience
The drive to Korbous takes about an hour from Hammamet, and when you arrive you step directly into the hot springs: water heated by the mountain flows into the sea, and you wade in to soak your feet where Romans did the same centuries ago. The springs sit between rocky cliffs and open water, so the setting itself is part of the draw. After that, a short drive brings you to Kerkouane, the ruins of a Punic city that sits on the tip of Cap Bon and has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1986. The site combines archaeological remains with views down to the sea.
From there you climb to Kélibia Fort, a 16th-century citadel built 150 meters above the town on a rocky promontory that overlooks both the Mediterranean and the Nabeul coastline. The fortress itself is the draw: the views from the top carry across the peninsula. After the fort, the tour circles back toward Hammamet and ends in its medina, the old walled quarter that sits right on the water and has drawn travelers since the 19th century. Your certified guide speaks English, Italian, French or Arabic depending on your choice at booking, and travels with you the whole day in an air-conditioned vehicle. Hotel pickup and all site entries are included.

What are the hot springs at Korbous actually like?
Korbous has been a spa resort since Roman times, fed by hot springs that flow down from the mountain and into the Mediterranean Sea. You wade into the water to soak your feet where the springs meet the coast, with mountain views and sea views both visible from the water.
Is Kerkouane just ruins, or is there something else to see there?
Kerkouane is an archaeological site of a Punic city on the UNESCO World Heritage list, so the ruins themselves are the main draw, but the location at the tip of Cap Bon also gives you views out to sea as part of the visit.
How high is Kélibia Fort and what's the climb like?
Kélibia Fort sits 150 meters above the town on a rocky promontory, and you climb up to the 16th-century citadel to see views across the Mediterranean and the Nabeul coastline. The tour notes it is suitable for all physical fitness levels.

Lunch is not included in the tour. The itinerary covers Korbous, Kerkouane, Kélibia Fort and Hammamet's medina over six and a half hours, so you'll want to plan a meal either before departure or during a stop.
