The experience

The day starts with hotel pickup from Ao Nang Beach and a speedboat ride to Nopparat Thara Pier, where you board for the Phi Phi Islands. The boat cuts through the Andaman Sea past limestone cliffs and tropical coastline, arriving first at Monkey Beach: a 150-meter strip of white sand ringed by emerald water where you snorkel among coral reefs and tropical fish. After swimming and sunbathing, you head to Koh Phi Phi Don for a buffet lunch with fresh seafood and Thai dishes overlooking the island.

The afternoon splits between four named stops. Phi Phi Lee Island brings you to Viking Cave, where you photograph the bird nests clinging to the limestone walls, then Pileh Lagoon for a second snorkel session in turquoise water surrounded by towering cliffs. A short walk from Loh Samah Bay leads through tropical vegetation to viewpoints over the bay. Maya Bay (the beach from the film "The Beach") gives you time to walk the sand and swim in the cove, and Bamboo Island offers a final stretch of pristine white beach and clear water before the boat turns back toward shore.

As the sun drops, you watch it set from the water with the 4 Islands silhouetted against the sky, then return to Nopparat Thara Pier for the ride back to your hotel.
