Swim into the Emerald Cave, then snorkel among tropical fish at five separate reefs.

A full-day snorkeling trip from Koh Lanta visits five islands by longtail boat: Koh Kradan, Koh Mook (where you swim through the Emerald Cave into a hidden lagoon), Koh Chueak, Koh Maa, and Koh Ngai. You snorkel at two reef sites, swim in the cave, relax on white sand beaches, and eat a buffet lunch on the shore. Hotel pickup and all gear are included.

The experience

The day starts with pickup from your Koh Lanta hotel around 7:30 am and a transfer to the pier. The longtail boat departs at 8:30 am and heads first to Koh Ngai for sightseeing, then to Koh Kradan by 10:40 am. Koh Kradan is known for its white sand and clear water. You'll snorkel here among the coral and fish. At noon, you eat a buffet lunch on the beach and have time to rest before moving on.

The Emerald Cave at Koh Mook is the centerpiece: you swim through a narrow limestone passage that opens into a hidden lagoon surrounded by cliffs. After the cave, the boat moves to either Koh Chueak or Koh Maa, where you snorkel again at a different reef. The return journey starts around 3:15 pm and gets you back to your hotel by late afternoon. Snorkeling equipment, a beach towel, soft drinks, water and fresh fruit are provided throughout the day.

The group stays small, which means more space on the boat and less crowding at each stop. A live English or Thai-speaking guide is on board. Children from age 4 are welcome. The trip is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or cardiovascular concerns.
