The experience
The day starts with hotel pickup and a speedboat ride to Koh Chueak, where you get your first 40 minutes in the water among colorful reef fish. From there the boat takes you to Koh Mook and Emerald Cave: the centerpiece of the tour. You swim or wade into the cave entrance and float into a limestone chamber that opens onto a small beach ringed by cliffs and forest, the water inside so clear it gives the cave its name. There's time to explore and take photos before heading to Koh Kradan for lunch.
Lunch is a buffet served on Koh Kradan, and the afternoon is yours to swim, snorkel in the shallows or rest on the sand. The final stop is Koh Ngai, where you get another 45 minutes in the water with the same marine life: clownfish, coral, small tropical species. The boat returns to the pier by 3:45pm, and you're back at your hotel by 4pm.
The tour runs with a minimum of 10 people and is subject to change if weather or sea conditions turn rough. A guide in English is with the group the whole day. Snorkeling gear, life jacket and a first aid kit are provided. Bring your own towel, sunscreen, hat and camera. National park entry fees (400 baht per adult, 200 baht per child) are paid separately at the pier.
