The experience
The climbing happens on easier top rope routes graded around level 6A, which means you're tied into a rope anchored above you while an instructor guides you through the movements. The team has been teaching since 1994, and safety is built into every step: you learn how to use the equipment, how to move on the rock, and how to trust the rope before you ever leave the ground. The session is structured for first-timers, so the pace stays comfortable and the focus stays on getting you climbing, not on speed or difficulty.
A live guide leads the group in English, Swedish or Thai, and stays with you throughout the session to spot technique, answer questions and make sure the rope work is solid. The group size stays small enough that the guide can watch each climber and adjust the route or the pacing if someone needs it. Children from age 3 can join, though younger climbers will be on shorter, lower routes suited to their reach and strength.
Transport to the climbing area is not included in the session price, though private transportation can be arranged at checkout if you need it. Bring water and wear clothes you can move in. The rock itself handles the rest. The session runs for four hours, which covers setup, instruction, and enough climbing time to feel what the sport is actually like.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, Swedish and Thai.
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (3 to 11 years). Children under 3 can't be included in the booking.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What does a top rope climbing route mean for someone who has never climbed before?
Top rope climbing means the rope is already anchored at the top of the wall, so you're always connected to safety gear. An instructor teaches you how to use the harness and the rope, then you climb while they watch from below and guide you through the handholds and footwork. You're supported the whole time, which is why it's the standard way beginners learn.
Do I need to bring my own climbing shoes or gear?
The session includes all the climbing equipment you need: harness, rope, carabiners and belay device. Climbing shoes are typically provided as well, though you can bring your own if you prefer. Wear comfortable clothes you can move freely in.
Is this a formal climbing course, or just an introduction?
This is an introduction session, not a formal course. It covers the basics of safety and technique so you can experience what rock climbing feels like, with an instructor there to teach and support you. If you want to progress to more advanced techniques, the operator offers courses as well.
