Zipline & Rock Climbing in Krabi: Jungle Canopy Adventure
Soar through the canopy, then rappel down the cliff face.
Thai'd Up Adventures in Krabi offers zipline, abseiling and rock climbing activities set in the jungle below limestone cliffs, 15 minutes from Krabi Town. You choose your package—from a 2-hour zipline tasting to a full day combining all three disciplines—with hotel pickup, safety gear, a professional English-speaking guide and lunch on the full-day option included. The site operates daily from 9am to 5pm, and weather may shift the schedule.
The Experience
Thai'd Up sits in the jungle canopy between Krabi Town and Ao Nang, where limestone mountains rise above dense rainforest. You'll spend your time moving through the air and down rock faces, not walking between viewpoints. The operator structures the day in zones: Zone A is six ziplines strung through the canopy; Zone B adds a 60-meter abseil down a cliff and tree-ladder climbs; the rock climbing section is a separate skill track. You pick one package at checkout—a 2-hour zipline tasting, a half-day mixing zipline with climbing or abseiling, or a full day stacking all three. Each comes with a safety briefing, helmet, gloves and other gear fitted to you before you start.
The guide stays with your group and speaks English throughout, calling out handholds on the rock face and managing the rope systems on the abseil. Hotel pickup is included (from Klong Muang and Tubkaek Beach for an extra 500 THB per car, max 10 people), so you don't arrange transport. Water and seasonal fruit are provided during the day. On the full-day package, lunch is Thai-style with local fruit. An optional 40-minute ATV ride is available to add if you want a different kind of speed before or after the climbing and ziplining.
Weather can shift the schedule—heavy rain closes the site—so the operator may adjust your time or activities. The maximum weight is 120 kg. The site opens at 9am daily and closes at 5pm, so book an early slot if you want the full day without rushing the last abseil into dusk.

Is this one for you?Choose the 2-hour zipline tasting if you want a quick rush through the canopy without committing to a full morning. Pick a half-day package if you're deciding between abseiling and rock climbing—the operator lets you pick one, not both, so choose based on whether you'd rather rappel or climb. Book the full day if you want all three disciplines and have the time; it's the only way to stack ziplines, the 60-meter abseil and rock climbing into one trip.

What's the difference between the zipline tasting and the half-day packages?
The 2-hour Zip Line Tasting is six ziplines through Zone A only. The half-day options add either rock climbing or abseiling—the abseil package includes tree-ladder climbs and a 60-meter rappel down the cliff, while the climbing package trades that for rock face work instead.
Does the full-day package really include all three—ziplines, abseiling and climbing?
Yes. The Full-Day package runs through Zone A ziplines, Zone B abseiling with the 60-meter descent, and rock climbing on the cliff face, plus a Thai-style lunch with local fruit and all safety gear.
Is hotel pickup really included, or does it cost extra?
Hotel pickup from Krabi Town and Ao Nang is included in all packages. If you're staying in Klong Muang or Tubkaek Beach, pickup costs 500 THB per car for up to 10 people.
What happens if it rains on the day I book?
Thai'd Up operates daily from 9am to 5pm, but the program is subject to change due to weather. Heavy rain can close the site, so the operator may reschedule your time or adjust which activities run that day.
Can I add the ATV ride to any package?
Yes, the 40-minute ATV drive is available to purchase as an add-on to any package you choose at checkout.
What's the limestone jungle like when you're ziplining through it?
The canopy sits below towering limestone cliffs and dense rainforest—you're moving through the treetops with the rock faces visible around you. The six ziplines in Zone A take you through that canopy corridor, and the abseil in Zone B drops you down the cliff itself.
