You board at 7:45 AM and complete three guided dives at Koh Tao's premier sites—Sail Rock, Chumphon Pinnacle, Southwest Pinnacle—with a professional guide and small group. Lunch and refreshments are served onboard between dives. You return by 3:00 PM with all gear and insurance included; the fast catamaran means less travel time and more time underwater.
The catamaran MV Chaba leaves the pier at 8:00 AM sharp. You're already onboard by 7:45, gear stowed, coffee in hand, watching the Gulf of Thailand flatten out ahead. The boat moves fast—that's the whole point—which means you're at the first dive site while other boats are still loading tanks. Smaller groups, experienced guides, spacious decks where you're not tripping over someone else's fins while you're trying to clip in your BCD. The crew briefs you on conditions, on what you might see, on how the day will run.
You'll complete three guided dives at sites like Sail Rock, Chumphon Pinnacle, and Southwest Pinnacle, depending on what the sea decides that morning. The underwater landscape here isn't gentle—pinnacles rise from deep water, coral formations are thick and colorful, and the fish life is the kind that makes you understand why people come back to Koh Tao again and again. Schools of tropical fish, barracuda, giant groupers, trevally, batfish, sea turtles. If the season lines up and you're lucky, a whale shark. Between dives you're back on the boat with a buffet lunch, fresh water, tea, coffee, light snacks. The crew keeps things moving without rushing you, and there's time to sit, decompress, talk about what you just saw underwater.
The whole day wraps by 3:00 PM when you're back in Koh Tao. You need to be a certified diver—SSI, PADI, NAUI, RAID, CMAS, BSAC, SDI or another recognized agency—and if you haven't dived in over a year, you'll do a refresher dive first. Medical questionnaire and liability waiver are required before you get in the water. The boat handles all the logistics: tanks, weights, full equipment, dive insurance, everything except the certification card you bring yourself.

Is this one for you?Book this if you're a certified diver who wants to maximize time underwater without the hassle of coordinating transport, equipment, and multiple boats—the catamaran's speed and smaller groups mean you spend less time traveling between sites and more time actually diving.
