The experience

The boat picks you up from your Koh Tao hotel and heads to Koh Nang Yuan Viewpoint first: a short hike to a ridge overlooking three interconnected bays in one frame. From there the day moves into the water: Aow Muang Bay has the coral reefs and the fish, Aow Hin Wong Bay is where you feed schools of them by hand in water so clear you see the sand below, and Aow Leuk Bay is the pause. Soft white sand, shallow enough for kids, time to swim or lie still. Lunch is served on board between stops.

The last stop is Shark Bay, where reef sharks and turtles move through the water as a matter of course. The Uncle Tao statue sits on the seafloor there, a photo moment that marks the end of the day. Snorkeling gear and life jackets are provided. An English-speaking guide stays with the group throughout. The boat carries a mix of travelers (families, couples, solo people), so you're not alone, and the shared cost keeps the price low.

Seven hours includes travel time between pickup and each stop, so actual water time is less than the full span. The itinerary can shift with weather or sea conditions. Basic accident insurance is included, and the operator will offer a different date or a full refund if cancellation becomes necessary. Koh Nang Yuan charges a separate entrance fee of 250 Thai baht per person.
