The Experience
The ATV portion runs 30 minutes and takes you along off-road trails through Khao Lak's forest and countryside, passing natural scenery and water features. You navigate mud, water crossings and rugged ground on the bike itself, with all safety gear supplied. The guide leads the ride and speaks English, so you know what to expect at each section of the trail. After you finish riding, the day shifts entirely: you head to the pool area at Khaolak Waterside.
Lunch arrives after the ride—a spread of authentic Thai dishes prepared fresh. You eat before or after swimming depending on how you want to pace the afternoon. The pool area includes a main swimming section, water play zones and slides, so there's something to do whether you want to keep moving or simply float and dry off. The whole experience runs between two and four hours depending on how long you spend in the water.
Hotel pickup and drop-off are included if you choose the transfer option at checkout. Public transportation is also available nearby if you prefer to meet at the site. Safety gear for the ATV is provided, and the activity suits most fitness levels, though it's not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, back problems, heart conditions or pregnancy.
