The experience

The day starts with pickup from your Khao Lak resort in a comfortable vehicle, arriving at the ATV base by 8:30 AM (or 1:30 PM for the afternoon option). After a safety briefing, you ride a quad bike for one hour through fields and off-road terrain led by a professional guide. The route takes you past the usual tourist paths to spots locals know. Once you're back, fruit and drinks are served while you catch your breath.

From there, a car transfer takes you to Lampi Waterfall in Thaimuang-Lampi National Park: the largest waterfall in the region. You have time to swim in the pool at the base and rinse off the dust from the ride. The whole activity runs about four hours from pickup to drop-off, with the afternoon option getting you back to your resort around 4:45 PM.

The guide speaks English and handles both the ATV instruction and the waterfall visit, so you don't need to arrange transport between the two stops or figure out the route. Souvenir photos from the ride are available to purchase if you want them.
