The experience
Stone Town sits at the heart of this tour: a UNESCO site built on narrow streets and centuries of trade history, where your guide walks you through the architecture and stories that shaped the island. From there you head to a local spice farm to see how Zanzibar's world-famous spices grow and taste them fresh. The farm visit is hands-on, not a shop stop. The day ends at Nakupenda sandbank, a strip of sand that appears and disappears with the tide, where you can swim and snorkel before heading back.
Private transport picks you up and carries the group through all three stops over roughly six hours. Lunch is included, and entrance fees to Stone Town and the spice farm are covered. The guide speaks your choice of language and knows the local history well enough to answer questions that go beyond the standard stops.

Live guide in English, Spanish, French, German and Italian.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What is Stone Town actually like when you get there?
Stone Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site built on a history of trade and settlement, with narrow streets, old architecture, and local culture woven through it. Your guide walks you through the site and explains the stories behind the buildings and streets.
Can you swim and snorkel at Nakupenda Beach?
Yes. Nakupenda is a sandbank where swimming and snorkeling are the main activities. The sandbank shifts with the tide, so it is not always in the same place, but when you arrive it is set up for water time.
What do you actually do at the spice farm?
You visit a working spice farm, learn how Zanzibar's famous spices are grown, and taste them. It is a hands-on stop, not a retail tour.
