The Experience

The boat leaves Real Club Nàutico de Palma in the morning, and the first stretch is the sail itself — you'll pass the Cathedral and the Almudaina Palace, seeing the promenade and the city's historic waterfront from the water. This opening hour sets the pace: you're not rushing through stops, you're moving at the boat's speed, with the guide pointing out landmarks as they come into view.

Once you reach the bay — the crew chooses between La Cueva Verde, Punta Negra, El Arenal, Palmanova or Cala Blava depending on wind and weather — the boat anchors and the water becomes the center of the day. Snorkeling gear and SUP boards are on board; you can enter the water or stay on deck. Some travelers spend an hour in the shallows with a mask; others paddleboard out and back; others simply lie on deck while the boat rocks gently. There's no schedule inside the bay, no "fifteen minutes here, then we move on." You have the time the eight-hour window allows.

Homemade Mallorcan tapas and cold dishes come out while you're anchored — the crew serves beer, wine and cava alongside soft drinks, and the meal is part of the tour, not an add-on. If you need a gluten-free, lactose-free, sugar-free or vegetarian version, you can request it when you book. A restroom is on board. Life jackets and passenger insurance are included. By late afternoon the boat heads back to the marina.
