The day starts with pickup at your Barcelona hotel and a scenic drive to Lloret de Mar on the Costa Brava—about an hour and a half in an air-conditioned van with your guide. Once you reach the water, you'll paddle for two to two and a half hours along the rugged coastline, passing sea cliffs, hidden caves, and coves the guide knows. The kayak route itself is the point: you're not sightseeing from a boat, you're moving through the landscape under your own power, steering into narrow passages and stopping wherever the water and the rock make sense.
