The experience

Nine hours from pickup to return means you leave early and get back with the afternoon still ahead. The route follows the rocky Costa Brava coastline. You paddle through clear water, stop at scenic spots to take in the views, and explore the coves without the noise or crowds of a larger group.

The snorkeling happens in a protected marine area where the underwater life is the draw: fish, rock formations, and the kind of clarity that makes the depth readable. If you want an extra moment, there's an option to jump from the rocks. The guide will tell you the spot and the depth. After the water work, you come ashore for a local sandwich and time to recover before the paddle back.

The guide speaks English or Spanish depending on the group, and stays with you the whole time. All snorkeling gear is provided. You bring swimming ability and a willingness to spend a full day on the water and in it. Children from age 6 can join if an adult is with them, and the boat has specialized infant seats if you're bringing younger kids. The maximum weight limit for a double kayak is 250kg, so pairs need to stay under that.
