The experience

The core of AQUAFIELD is the jimjil spa: eight separate themed saunas ranging from an aurora room to a cloud-rest space, each designed for a different kind of recovery. You move between them at your own pace, spending as long as you want in each one. The facility sits on a rooftop with skylight and views, and the sound of water runs through the spaces. A spa-only ticket gets you access to the saunas and relaxation areas. A multi-pass adds the indoor water park and the outdoor infinity pool that overlooks the sky.

Timing depends on your ticket type. A jimjil spa ticket runs up to 6 hours. A multi-pass extends to 9 hours. Peak season (mid-July through mid-August) opens the spa at 9am and the indoor pool at 9am, with the outdoor pool starting at 10am. Normal season shifts to 10am and 11am respectively. The facility closes at 10pm for the spa and 7pm or 9pm for the pools depending on the season. If you stay past your ticket window, additional fees apply at 5,000 KRW per hour. You'll need to use your shoe cabinet within 20 minutes of getting your ticket, and when you leave, you settle any locker charges at the counter on the fourth floor before the shoe cabinet unlocks.

Children under 4 years old can enter with proof but cannot bathe alone. Children under 10 and elderly visitors need a guardian. Men and women over 4 years old use separate sauna and dressing areas. The facility prohibits outside food except water in plastic bottles, baby food in sealed containers, and peeled seedless fruit. You can eat in designated dining areas. No phones in lockers or saunas, and no photography. Swimwear is required for the water park but not for the sauna after you shower. Three branches operate year-round, though outdoor pools close for renovation in spring and some reduce capacity in fall.
