The sunset timing means you're driving as the light changes across the sand.

After the buggy section, you get a recreational sandboarding experience on the dunes themselves. The whole outing runs about two hours and covers the entrance tax to the protected dune area. Meals and drinks are not part of the standard package, though you can add them at checkout if you want.
