How do you see Oman's different worlds without renting a car or joining a group? This tour chains four distinct regions into one journey, each night spent in a different landscape. Day one takes you from Muscat to Wadi Shab, a two-hour drive through coastal views, where you have up to three hours to swim in the pools and walk the narrow gorge (a small boat ride crosses the entrance water for 1 OMR per person, paid on arrival). The same day adds Bimmah Sinkhole, a fifteen-minute detour, before the drive to Ras Al Hadd for your first overnight.

Day two moves inland: a two-hour-twenty-minute drive from Ras Al Hadd to Wadi Bani Khalid, where you stop to swim or photograph the canyon walls, then another hour and forty minutes into the Wahiba Sands Desert for the night. Day three leaves the desert after a two-hour drive to Nizwa, where you get thirty minutes inside Nizwa Fort and thirty minutes in the souq before a ninety-minute climb to Jebel Akhdar, the mountain plateau where you stay overnight. The final morning is the return to Muscat, a two-hour drive through the same terrain in reverse. Your driver stays with the vehicle at each stop. The itinerary is flexible, so if you want to skip a site or add time somewhere, you arrange it when you book.

Water and a professional, licensed driver are included throughout. Pickup happens anywhere in the Muscat area (airport, port, hotel or elsewhere), and the vehicle is a 4WD suited to the desert roads. What's the boat ride at Wadi Shab actually like?

Wadi Shab requires a short boat crossing to enter the gorge. The boat operator charges 1 OMR per person, payable when you arrive at the parking area. Your driver does not handle this fee. Once across, you can swim in the pools, walk deeper into the canyon, or simply photograph the rock walls. You have up to three hours before your driver picks you up again.

Can I skip stops or change the route once I've booked?
