The Experience

We passed St. Laurens Church too — she told us about its survival during the bombings, which made me look at those stones differently.

But honestly, going inside one of those Cube Houses was what stuck with me most. From outside they look like they shouldn’t work — all tilted angles and yellow panels — but inside it’s surprisingly cozy. The stairs are steep (watch your step), and there’s this odd light that comes in from every direction.
