The Experience

We rolled out of Tangier’s port just after sunrise—still shaking off sleep, honestly. Our guide Samir waved from the curb with this huge grin and a sign that had my name (spelled right, which felt like a good omen). The city was already buzzing as we cruised through the modern part—kids weaving between cars, someone selling mint by the roadside.
