The experience

Essaouira sits on Morocco's Atlantic coast where wind and water conditions stay favorable throughout the year, making it one of the few places where you can learn kitesurfing in any season. Your guide handles all the instruction (safety protocols, board control, reading the wind, body positioning), and adjusts the pace to match where you're starting from, whether that's your first time on a board or you're working on more advanced moves. All equipment comes with the lesson, so you show up ready to get on the water.

The lesson runs two hours, though you can book longer sessions if you want more time in the water. Swimming ability and comfort in moving water are essential. The sport is safe when practiced with proper supervision and in the right conditions. Your guide watches weather throughout and will reschedule or refund if conditions turn unsafe. Children must be at least 7 and accompanied by an adult.
