Agadir buggy safari: drive dunes, forest and beach yourself
You're behind the wheel, not watching from a seat
An off-road buggy activity in Agadir where you drive your own vehicle through golden sand dunes, rural landscapes, a Berber village and forest, then down to the beach. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included, along with a certified instructor, helmet, glasses, mint tea with bread and honey, and souvenir photos and videos. Children from age 3 are welcome; the experience runs about two hours.
The Experience
You pick up the buggy at your hotel and head out with a certified driver-instructor who rides along and speaks English. The route takes you through Agadir's pre-Saharan landscape — golden dunes, rural terrain dotted with villages, and forest before you drop down to the beach. The whole loop runs two hours, and you're driving the whole time, not sitting as a passenger watching someone else navigate.
What you get with the booking: helmet and glasses for safety; a guide who knows the terrain and can point out the Berber settlements you pass; mint tea with bread and honey partway through; souvenir photos and videos of the run; air-conditioned transport to and from your hotel. Tips are optional. The buggy handles the sand and rough ground; you just need to be comfortable holding the wheel on uneven terrain.
Families with children from age 3 can book — younger kids ride on an adult's lap, and specialized infant seats are available if you need one. The activity is wheelchair accessible, and the operator notes it suits all fitness levels, though it's not recommended for anyone with spinal injuries.
