The experience
You pick up your quad at the office 25 minutes south of Agadir after a safety briefing and gear check: helmet, goggles and dust cover included. From there you ride through argan tree groves and sand tracks, watching greenhouses that supply the region's markets roll past. The route takes you through the village of Lamzar and on toward Takad, where you'll navigate narrow alleys and small slopes before the landscape opens into the Mini Sahara, a stretch of sand dunes that gives a real taste of the Moroccan desert without the long drive inland.
Halfway through, you stop at a traditional house for mint tea, bread, amlou and local honey: a pause that breaks up the riding and lets you see how people live in the countryside around Agadir. After that, the dunes take over: you'll spend the second half of the ride on sand, carving through slopes and open country before heading back to the office. There, the quad gets an air-pressure wash to clear the dust, and you get a cold drink before the return to your hotel.
The morning option runs 8:30 am to noon. The afternoon option leaves at 2:00 pm and returns around 5:30 pm. Both are the same route and the same length: roughly three hours on the bike. A guide rides with you and speaks English, Spanish, French, Italian or Arabic depending on your group. If you want to ride as a pair on one quad instead of solo, that option is available at checkout.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Arabic.
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Infant (6 to 12 years). Children under 6 can't be included in the booking.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
Can I ride a quad bike if I've never done it before?
Yes. The activity is suitable for all fitness levels, and the guide gives a full safety briefing and orientation before you leave the office. Children from age 6 can ride, either on their own quad or as a passenger on a bike with an adult.
What is the Mini Sahara like compared to the real Sahara?
The Mini Sahara is a stretch of sand dunes and open countryside a short ride south of Agadir, not a vast desert. It gives you the feel of riding on sand and dunes without requiring a full-day expedition into the deep desert, and it sits within the same afternoon or morning timeframe as the rest of the route.
What happens at the stop in the traditional house?
You'll be served Moroccan mint tea, traditional bread, amlou (a paste made from argan oil, almonds and honey) and local honey. It's a break halfway through the ride where you can rest and see how people in the countryside live, not a meal.
Do I need to bring anything or wear anything special?
Wear clothes you don't mind getting dusty and closed-toe shoes. The office provides helmets, goggles and a dust cover. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included, so you don't need to arrange transport to the office.
What's the difference between the morning and afternoon options?
The morning departure is 8:30 am, returning at noon. The afternoon departure is 2:00 pm, returning around 5:30 pm. The route and duration are the same. You choose the time that fits your day.
