A 2-day Sahara tour from Agadir takes a small group through Berber villages to El Borj Desert, where you spend the night at a desert camp. The next morning, a sunrise camel ride carries you across the dunes to see ancient rock carvings before the return to Agadir. Step-by-step itinerary

Day 1: Desert journey and village stops

The experience

The route leaves Agadir and moves south through traditional Berber settlements, stopping at the Oasis of Tighmert for two hours before reaching the desert camp. You'll have dinner with locals in a Berber tent that evening, then wake to breakfast the same way the next morning. The camel ride happens at sunrise, crossing the dunes to rock carvings that mark the landscape, and the drive back to Agadir follows after.

An air-conditioned vehicle carries the group throughout, and WiFi stays available on board. Legzira Beach, a stop on the first day, is included in the tour price. The overnight accommodation is at the desert camp itself, so there's no separate hotel booking. You're sleeping where the experience centers. A live guide speaks English, Spanish, Italian, French and one additional language, and pickup from your Agadir accommodation is part of the package.

Children from age one are welcome on the tour. Camel riding on the second morning costs an extra 5€ per person if you want to join that part. It's not automatic. Drinks during the tour run 1.50€ each and are ordered separately.
