The experience

The catamaran departs Puerto Aventuras marina and heads north for about an hour to In-Ha, a semi-sheltered reef where the water stays calm and clear. You enter the water to snorkel among sea turtles, colorful tropical fish and other reef life, or stay onboard to sunbathe and drink. While you're in the water, the crew serves snacks, cocktails and freshly made shrimp and fish ceviche. Dietary requests can be arranged in advance.

After In-Ha, the boat moves to La Bocana, a shallow, clear finale stop where many finish their ceviche and open bar drinks right in the water. The crew plays your favorite music and you float there as long as you want before a leisurely cruise back to the marina. If you choose to troll fish along the way, anything you catch gets prepared onboard with the chef's family sauce. The open bar runs the whole time and includes tequila, rum, vodka, Mexican beer, bottled water, soft drinks and juice.

Towels, snorkel gear and fishing equipment are provided. The boat has a restroom onboard. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and the minimum drinking age is 18.
