The Experience

Check in at the dock and board the catamaran with the crew. Once everyone is aboard, the captain sails through Cabo San Lucas Bay, passing The Arch—the natural rock formation at the tip of the peninsula—and gives you time to photograph it. Then the boat heads out for about 40 minutes to Santa Maria Bay, where the snorkeling happens. You can get in the water and swim among the tropical fish and sea life, or stay on deck in the sun if you prefer. Either way, the crew is there.

After snorkeling, everyone boards and the buffet lunch opens: fresh baguettes with cold cuts, cheeses and condiments. The open bar runs throughout the cruise—soft drinks, beer, wine and spirits included. Once lunch is done, the captain heads back to the dock, where your driver meets you for the transfer back to your hotel.

Bring a towel and sunglasses, and plan to be at the dock 20 minutes before departure. Infants sit on an adult's lap. Children must be with an adult at all times. The minimum drinking age is 18. If you arrive late and miss the boat, refunds are not issued, so timing matters here.
