The Island Hopper, a 45-foot Voyage yacht catamaran, departs from Pointe Jerome on the southeast coast near Mahebourg. You have the boat and its crew to yourself for the full day, which means the route, the stops and how long you linger at each one are yours to decide. The catamaran is built for day sailing, so the ride is stable and the deck space lets you move around freely.

Île aux Cerfs is where you spend the middle of the day. You disembark on the island and can swim in the lagoon, sunbathe on the sand, or book parasailing if you want to try it. The water is shallow and calm near the shore. After the island, the boat heads up the Grand River, a narrow waterway lined with trees where monkeys and giant bats live in the canopy. GRSE Waterfall marks the end of the river run, and you see it from the water before turning back toward the coast.

Tea and coffee are on board throughout the day. Lunch is optional: a standard BBQ menu costs extra, as does a VIP menu with lobster. The crew handles the sailing and navigation.
