The tour starts with pickup from your hotel (20 to 35 minutes' drive to the venue) and ends with return transport. You spend roughly 1.5 hours walking the 1.2km footpath through Dream Forest, a first-of-its-kind Malaysian attraction that layers projection mapping, illuminated installations and ethereal soundscapes over the rainforest itself. The stories are Langkawi's own: Princess Dayang Bunting, Tun Teja, Merong Mahawangsa and the Giants of Langkawi emerge from the trees and canopy as you move through the dark, so the myths feel embedded in the landscape rather than imposed on it.

The path is rough in places and the venue is dark, so wear sneakers and bring insect repellent. Long sleeves and long pants help with mosquito bites. Flash photography is prohibited, and re-entry is not allowed once you leave, so plan to move through the whole experience in one go. Children under 2 enter free. Infants can ride in a pram or stroller. Outside food and drinks are not permitted inside the venue. The park is large enough that you'll want the full 1.5 hours to see it without rushing.
