The Experience

The cable car climbs 708 metres above sea level in just a few minutes, carrying you through the eastern cliffs of Mt. Machinchang and its lush forests. From the base station to the middle station, you cover over 1,700 metres of distance suspended above the island. At the top, you can opt for a glass-bottom gondola on the final stretch if you want the adrenaline of seeing straight down through your feet—one of the steepest cable car slopes in Malaysia. Once you arrive at the summit, you'll have access to the Skydome, SkyRex, and 3D Art Langkawi before heading to the Sky Bridge itself.

The Langkawi Sky Bridge is a 125-metre curved pedestrian bridge sitting 660 metres above sea level at the peak of Mt. Machinchang. You reach it by taking an inclined lift called the SkyGlide down from the top station. The views from the bridge stretch across the entire Langkawi archipelago and into Southern Thailand on clear days.
