Step-by-step itinerary
Sailing and snorkeling adventure
- Board the sailboat in Montego Bay
- Sail over coral reefs
- Snorkel among tropical fish and turtles
- Relax on the yacht with music and shade
The experience
The sailboat leaves Montego Bay with a licensed captain who has over 26 years of experience running these waters. You'll head out to coral reefs where the water is clear enough to see rays, turtles and schools of brightly colored tropical fish. Whether you want to help trim the sails and steer or simply watch from the deck is up to you, the captain runs the boat either way, and you can move between helping and relaxing as the mood strikes.
Snorkeling happens over the reef itself. Bring a camera. The fish and turtles stay close enough that underwater photos are straightforward. The boat has restrooms, shaded areas and music, so time on deck between water sessions is comfortable. Snacks and beverages are provided throughout the four hours.
This is a private charter, which means your group books the entire boat. A minimum of six adult passengers is required to operate. The maximum is 15. The guide speaks English and welcomes children from age 12 onward, provided they're accompanied by an adult.
