Negril Seven Miles Beach Snorkeling Private Tour from Montego Bay
Two of Jamaica's top beaches in one afternoon, without building the day yourself
A private half-day tour from Montego Bay to Negril Seven Miles Beach and Rick's Cafe combines snorkeling, a glass-bottom boat ride to a private island, and sunset cliff jumping or watching, with an air-conditioned vehicle and English-speaking guide included. The tour runs about six hours and stops along the way for photo opportunities, local food, or sightseeing if you ask; lunch at the island and drinks at Rick's are at your own expense.
The Experience
The tour starts with a walk on Negril Seven Miles Beach, where you can swim or rest in the sun. From there, a glass-bottom boat takes you out to a small private island, stopping at nearby coral reefs and fish sanctuaries along the way. You'll snorkel in waters where sea turtles, stingrays, starfish and schools of colorful fish are common. Once at the island, you can order fresh lobster or fish (starting at $40 each) and watch it being prepared while you relax.
After the island, the tour moves to Margaritaville for entertainment and shopping, then to Rick's Cafe for the sunset. There you can jump off the cliffs into the water or stand on the deck and watch others do it while music plays and people dance. The private vehicle and guide mean you're not waiting for a group to decide or moving at someone else's pace — you set the rhythm at each stop, and the driver knows the route and the timing.
Small stops happen along the way if you want them: photo spots, local restaurants, juici patties, or hidden gems your guide can point out. The vehicle is air-conditioned, and the guide speaks English and can customize the tour to fit what your group wants to do. Infants and small children can come along, and service animals are welcome.
