The Experience
The day opens at Green Grotto Caves, where you walk through the underground labyrinth that Taino people and early explorers once traveled. From there you head to Seville Outpost, where the terrain shifts to riding: you mount a horse and ride into the Caribbean Sea itself, then switch to an ATV to navigate the historic landscape around the outpost. Both activities sit back-to-back, so the physical demands stack—you're moving between equipment and terrain without a long break between them.
Lunch at Margaritaville gives you a chance to reset before the catamaran departs from the base of Dunn's River Falls. The boat sails along the coastline where the waterfall flows directly into the ocean, one of the rare places on earth where that happens. An onboard DJ and open Caribbean bar run throughout the cruise, so the energy stays high even as you're floating past the water and the cliffs.
The guide stays with the group in English and handles logistics—timing, transitions between sites, safety on the ATV and horseback sections. Hotel pickups start 30 to 60 minutes before your arrival time depending on where you're staying, so factor that into your morning. Damage to the ATV from user error comes out of pocket, and the catamaran can be suspended on rare occasions if ocean conditions turn rough.

What exactly is Green Grotto Caves and why does it matter?
Green Grotto Caves is a historic underground labyrinth in Jamaica that was walked by Taino people and early explorers. You tour it as the first stop of the day, moving through the passages before heading to the outdoor activities.
Do I operate the ATV myself or does someone else drive?
You ride the ATV yourself through Seville's terrain. You need to be at least 16 years old with a valid driver's license, and you must be able to handle the physical demands of operating it—weight limit is 300 pounds, and damage from user error is charged to you.
What's the horseback ride like if I've never done it before?
The horseback ride at Seville takes you into the Caribbean Sea itself, so you're riding along the historic coastline with ocean views. It's a swim-capable ride, meaning the horse goes into the water. Weight limit for the horseback section is 230 pounds, and you need to be able to bend your knees enough to mount and dismount.
Is the catamaran cruise just sitting, or is there something to do?
The catamaran sails from the base of Dunn's River Falls along the coastline, and an onboard DJ and open Caribbean bar keep the atmosphere active. You're watching the waterfall meet the ocean and the cliffs pass by, not a passive float—the music and bar are part of the experience.
What's included in the price, and what do I need to pay for separately?
Lunch at Margaritaville, all activities (caves, ATV, horseback, catamaran), the guide, and hotel pickup are included. Souvenirs, extra beverages and snacks beyond the open bar, gratuities, and locker rental are not included.
Can I do this tour if I have a heart condition or knee injury?
No. The tour is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health, or a history of heart-related issues, seizures, or knee or hip injury. You need a high level of physical fitness, and claustrophobia or respiratory illness may also make it unsuitable.
