The experience

The ride starts at a beach near Ocho Rios where you mount horses suitable for all riding levels and walk them into the Caribbean. An English-speaking guide leads the group through the water and back to shore, then transports everyone by air-conditioned vehicle to Dunn's River Falls.

Dunn's River is a 600-foot cascade of limestone steps with water flowing over each tier. You climb the terraces with the guide, moving from pool to pool, swimming in the clear water as it flows around you. The falls are the most visited natural attraction in Jamaica, so the site fills early. Your guide navigates the timing and the route. The whole outing runs four hours from pickup to return.
