The experience

Dunn's River Falls is 600 feet long and one of the few waterfalls in the world that empties straight into the sea. Your guide meets you at the falls and walks you through the climb from the beach up the cascades to the top. Joining hands in a human chain is optional: your guide assists throughout. After you reach the summit, you can spend time in one of two park areas before heading through the local craft market back to your vehicle.

The White River leg is a different pace entirely. A 30-foot bamboo raft becomes your transport, and the raft captain navigates the serenity of the river while educating you about the waterway and the communities along it. Limestone foot massages happen on board, along with fresh-peeled pineapple and coconut pulled straight from a tree. The raft travels all the way to the beach, where the day ends.

Private transportation moves you between both sites in an air-conditioned vehicle. Bottled water, soda, beer and rum punches travel with you, plus Jamaican snacks on board. The whole experience runs between four and five hours.
