ATV Adventure and Scenic Exploration
- Visit Discovery Bay Lookout

- Drive through Edwards Seaga Toll Road to countryside
- Enjoy guided ATV tour on bush trails

The experience
You'll need a valid driver's license to operate the ATV. The day starts with pickup from your hotel and a drive to Discovery Bay Lookout, where you get your first view of the north coast and the Caribbean beyond. From there the group moves to a sugar cane and jelly coconut stop before heading inland via the Edwards Seaga Toll Road toward Linstead in St. Catherine Parish. The ride into the countryside takes about an hour, passing through rural Jamaica where you see how locals actually live outside the tourist zones.
Once you reach the trails, the ATV riding begins. Professional guides lead the way and walk you through how to handle the vehicle before you start. The terrain shifts between lush rainforest and rougher ground, with hidden mud puddles scattered through the route. You'll have chances to stop and photograph the landscape. Lunch is provided partway through, and bottled water is available throughout the ride.
The whole outing runs 3 to 4 hours from start to finish. Private transportation means your group travels together in an air-conditioned vehicle between the lookout, the stops and the trailhead, so you're not waiting for other groups or managing your own logistics to the starting point.

Is this one for you?The ride spans 3 to 4 hours including transport, stops and trail time, so plan for a half-day commitment. You operate the ATV yourself across mud and uneven terrain, so comfort with handling a vehicle on rough ground matters. Guides ensure safety and provide instruction, but this is active riding, not a passenger experience.
