From there, the route moves into Maremma's wine country to visit an Antinori family farm, one of the region's producers of powerful but elegant wines. After a guided tour of the cellar, you'll taste wines and local products with a sommelier who knows the territory.

Sovana, an ancient Etruscan city and former seat of the Aldobrandeschi family, fills the afternoon with richly paved streets and small alleys. You'll walk through the historic center with your guide, visit Sovana Cathedral to see the transition from Romanesque to Gothic architecture and a baptismal font from 1434, then explore the crypt with the remains of San Mamiliano. Entry to the archaeological park is included. The cathedral entrance is part of the tour.
