The experience

The experience starts in the vineyard itself. A sommelier walks you through the Brunello region's landscape and the castle's history, then explains the techniques behind the wines you are about to taste. This is not a catalogue of bottles. It is a working vineyard, and you see how the grapes become what you will drink.

The tasting comes next, three important Tuscan wines served with local snacks. You will taste Sangiovese IGT and Brunello di Montalcino, both known worldwide, and the sommelier breaks down what makes each one distinct. Then you move to lunch: a selection of cold cuts and cheeses, handmade pasta with sauces, Cantucci senesi for dessert, and coffee. The whole arc, vineyard to glass to table, takes about 90 minutes and stays inside the castle grounds.
