The experience
You arrive at a home kitchen in Maglie, not a restaurant. A local cook (part of Cesarine, Italy's network of home chefs across more than 500 cities) opens her doors and her family recipe collection to walk you through the day's menu. This is show cooking: you watch her hands shape the pasta, taste the sauce as it builds, ask questions as she works. The kitchen is where the experience happens, and you're in it.
The meal itself is a 4-course progression: a seasonal starter, fresh pasta made by hand, a second course with a side dish, and a typical dessert. Water and a selection of red and white wines from regional Puglia cellars come with the food, along with coffee at the end. You eat at her table, not standing at a counter. The whole thing takes about 2.5 hours, which gives time for the cooking, the eating, and the conversation that comes with both.
Pick lunch or dinner when you book. That's the only choice you make. Tell the host about any food allergies or intolerances during the booking process so she can adjust the menu. Public transportation runs nearby if you need it to get there. The experience is built for all fitness levels. You're sitting and watching and eating, not hiking or standing for hours.

Can I book lunch instead of dinner, or is it dinner only?
You choose lunch or dinner at checkout. Both follow the same 4-course structure and include the same wines and coffee.

Tell the host about any allergies or intolerances during the booking process. She'll adjust the menu to keep the experience safe and memorable for you.
