The experience

Francesco's farmhouse sits in the Chianti hills surrounded by olive trees, cypresses, and mulberry trees. You arrive and meet Francesco, Valentina, and Anna. Three Tuscan cooks who will guide you through making pasta from scratch. The class runs four hours, which gives you time to learn the technique, shape the dough, and cook what you've made without rushing through lunch afterward.

You'll make tagliatelle, fusilli, or orecchiette by hand, then prepare a sauce from seasonal vegetables grown on the farm. The class also covers two different desserts. Everything you cook goes straight to the table: the pasta you shaped, the sauce you stirred, the desserts you made. Lunch happens in the garden, and it includes dishes Valentina and Anna have prepared alongside what you've cooked, plus an excellent Chianti wine (for guests 18 and older). Coffee and the homemade desserts finish the meal.

Before you arrive, let Francesco know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions so he can adjust the recipes. The full address appears on your confirmation voucher. At the end, you receive a gift to remember the dish you cooked: a small token of the day you spent as part of a Tuscan family.
