The experience

You arrive at TILI VINI, a certified organic and biodynamic winery set among the rolling hills of Umbria just outside Assisi. Your private table is already laid in the open air, positioned to catch the full 360° sweep of the Valley of Assisi and the countryside beyond. If the weather turns, the same table moves indoors to a tasting room with panoramic windows: the views and the privacy stay the same.

Lunch unfolds as a guided tasting. Five of the estate's organic Assisi DOC and Umbria IGT wines arrive paired to each course: a seasonal soup or farrotto, bruschette layered with house-made sauces and local cheeses, a fresh salad dressed in the estate's cold-pressed olive oil and aged balsamic, and traditional Umbrian biscotti to close. Every dish changes with the season: ancient grains and legumes in autumn and winter, fragrant vegetables in spring and summer. Between courses, the guide walks you through the wines, the single-origin olive oil, and the aged balsamic, explaining what makes each one distinct. The whole meal takes roughly 90 minutes.

After lunch, the estate is yours to explore. Download the dedicated app and wander through the vineyards and olive groves at your own pace, discovering each cultivar as you stroll.
